Strategic Management in Tourism and Hospitality

Dear Class,

During this semester you’ll be learningone of the most important “hard skills” in business  management; namely the Strategic Management. The subject itself consists of the analysis, decisions, and actions an organization undertakes in order to create and sustain competitive advantage. Here you’ll learn how you can manage businesses and projects proactively with a focus on long-term strategy.

In the ‘real life’  understanding and implementing strategic management is important because is helps in setting detailed goals, analysing all our internal and external resources, analyzing the external environment, as well as stakeholder views.

As usual, there will be day to day assessment and exams which will be marked respectfully to what that you have accomplished.
